New Year's Eve

We like to live life on the edge when we hang with the Derrs... Strong drinks, pyrotechnics and plastic bags on our heads. What kind of New Year's Eve celebration would it be if we didn't throw common sense and caution to the wind!

Within minutes of arriving at the Derr's house, Marshall grabbed Tracy's drink (sprite and vodka) and dumped the entire Big-Gulp sized cup on his head. Luckily I had one of Molly's old Yoda shirts in the diaper bag. That explains the large dress-sized shirt. However, I don't have a good explanation for Marshall's decision to wear a zip lock bag on his head.Marshall is fascinated by Adalyn's binky... he likes to take it out of her mouth, then shove it back in. She usually plays along for the first few minutes, then eventually she tells him - in no uncertain terms - when she's had enough.Hugging a marker and saying "mine"... and the results...Doody was not a fan of the fireworks.
He was very happy when I took him inside and put him to bed.
As Davis watched the fireworks he would dryly exclaim - "crack-nuts"... It's the latest catch-phase in our house.
The night was crack-nuts indeed.
Thanks for a fun New Years Eve, Derrs - especially for my extra-strong drink in a sippy cup. Thanks to Marshall spilling the first cocktail of the night, Tracy insisted I drink out of a cup with a lid.

Christmas Morning

Santa enjoyed his treats very much!
Molly was very excited that Santa brought "Ramona and Beezus" the movie!
Molly having a serious discussion with her new dragonSpikes was very happy to meet all of his new dragon friends on Christmas morning!Zoobles from Ms. RobinMy favorite Christmas present:
Ray sent us this stepping stone that Trenda purchased before she passed away and labeled the box "Christmas Paul and Datra" I know that she bought it for Julia's garden and that's exactly where it's been placed.

It really made my Christmas much more special to get presents from Trenda this year. Tirscha also found a little cowgirl ornament that Nana had gotten Molly for Christmas. It made my heart happy to know she was with us.Marshall taking a much-needed break on his nap-mat from MiMiMolly with her Alice doll from TirschaMarshall really loved his Handy Manny 4 wheeler, scooter and Handy Manny toolbox from Daddy
