PawPaw's Fishing Buddy

Back in June Molly spent the weekend with PawPaw while Paul and I went to Colorado for Hugh and Kristi's wedding. As usual, they went fishing in the bay and this time Molly caught her first flounder! I wish I could have been there to see her proud little face! When Paul and I got home it's all she could talk about. Mimi even cooked her fish for dinner and Molly said it was delicious!

I just got these pictures from Paul's dad and had to include them in a post!

Fun with the Fullers & Miranda!

Thursday the Fullers came over for a play date - while they were here I hired Miranda to come over and play with Molly and Camden while Star and I hung out with Knox and Marshall.

Hiring a 12 year old to entertain two four year-olds is one of the best ideas I've had in a long time. Miranda is so energetic and fun - the kids just LOVED her!!

Slumber Party!

On Monday night sweet Alyssa came over to have a slumber party and give me an extra set of hands with the kids. Molly LOVED having a "big girl" to play with. Alyssa read Molly her bedtime stories and Molly was so excited to share her room with Alyssa. The next day I took the girls to Chuck E Cheese for some pizza and games. After a quick trip to CostCo where Molly enjoyed running the samples circuit as Alyssa's side-kick, we headed home for a nap and a few hours of swimming before we sadly had to take Alyssa home. I didn't get any pictures of it, but at Alyssa's house the girls dressed up in go-go boots and Molly enjoyed her first make-over. Let me tell you it was so weird to see my sweet 4 year old with mascara, blush and lip-stick on, she just looked too grown-up! I still remember Alyssa as a sweet little baby and she's already 10!!! They grow up so stinking fast... It's just amazing that in the last two years Molly has gone from being an Elmo junkie to being obsessed with the Jonas Brothers and now makeup! Ugggghhh!!

Marshall's visitors

The last few weeks we've had friends coming over to meet our little man... unfortunately I've forgotten to take pictures of all our visitors, but here are some of Marshall's adoring fans and future play-mates!

This weekend Mimi came in once again to help us while Paul is busy getting the Halloween stores up and running. Molly always has so much fun with her Mimi and every time she leaves, Molly tells me it's boring without her! This coming weekend is going to be our first weekend without Mimi since Marshall arived and we're sure going to miss her!

Bath Time!

After Marshall's stump fell off he was able to get his first bath. I didn't get many pictures of the actual bath, but here are Molly and Marshall at the start of it!

Two Week Check-Up

We went to the doctor yesterday for Marshall's two week check-up and the nurse was shocked when he weighed in at 9lbs - usually at the 2 week check-up they want the baby to at least be back up to their birth weight and Marshall blew past that and packed on an extra half pound! She told me I no longer need to wake him up to eat and that at this rate he might start sleeping through the night pretty soon. I'm not really holding out hope for that one. The last several days he's been up until 2 or 3am, not fussing or crying, just wide awake, sweet as can be. He sleeps like a champ during the day, so I am hoping that very soon he'll get his days and nights straight!
