Trick or Treat!!!

Our neighborhood trick-or-treat gets more and more hectic each year as more kiddos are born. I think our Champions West friends are all at maximum capacity, so any new kids at next year's trick or treat will be courtesy of our friends outside the neighborhood!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I am so excited it's finally Halloween day! Woo Hoo!!! We've made it through another Halloween season and this time we did it with a newborn in tow.

Tonight is the big night! We've got some awesome costume fun planned for this evening and I can't wait to see how it all comes together, but until then, I wanted to post pictures of all of Molly's costumes so far this season.

(Molly chose Daphne after she heard that Presley was going as Scooby)For the Fall Fesitval Molly decided she wanted to be a cat at the last minute and since I didn't want to brave the madness at the stores (and I am sure we're sold out of cat accessories) I threw together a kitty costume just like I did when she was 2 and decided to be a cat on Halloween day! (Yes Paul and I are wearing much more elaborate costumes than our child!)

Tirscha's Visit

My cousin, Tirscha, came to stay with us the last 10 days of our hectic Halloween season. Even though it felt like we were constantly running errands, going to birthday parties, soccer games and all kinds of Halloween related events, we had so much fun together. Marshall absolutely adores Tirscha and would look around the room until he found her, then would give her the biggest smile I've ever seen! Molly also had a lot of fun drawing, doing crafts and science projects with Tirsch.

While Tirscha was here, she had lots of fun jobs... she helped put little man to sleep each night...

She helped pack him up to run our many errands...She gave Marshall tons of hugs and kisses...She played "Science Teacher" to Molly while they worked on an experiment with milk, dish soap and food coloring...

She went to two of Molly's soccer games and helped me manage team snacks and both kids...She posed for lots of pictures with Mimi and the kids... She took charge during bath-time... (yes that's a pink towel, sorry Marshall!)She played with the two kiddos at our neighborhood block party......where poor little Marshall had to hang out inside a mosquito net since he's too young for bug spray......and Molly got to hang out in the back of a police car which she thought was REALLY cool...

Sheriff Mike also let her ride in the front seat of his squad car while he drove it about 10 feet, which was probably the highlight of her day!Tirscha also got to see Molly in action with her bud, Caden H.

Tirscha hung out with Marshall while Tinkerbell frolicked with Spider-Man at Tunk-or-Treat......and for all her hard work we took Tirscha to the Cupcake Cafe where we all had a yummy lunch and some delicious cupcakes for dessert!That night we went with to the Fall Festival at a local church......where Tirscha tried to keep Marshall all snuggly and calm while we waited for Molly to ride the rides and eat her dinner...

...and most importantly, Tirscha helped get Marshall ready for his Halloween debut as Alice in Wonderland's King of Hearts!

We love you, Tirscha and can't wait to see you again in February!!!

Molly and Frank

Almost every day we pass the Halloween Express billboard near our house and each time Molly blows kisses to Frank and asks me to take her picture with him. Yesterday we finally made a special trip to do just that.

Three Months Old

Little man turned three months old today! He is such a happy baby and an absolute blessing to our family!!!
