February brought lots and lots of cold weather, several celebrations and tons of fun!
The kids spent a lot of time indoors the first few weeks...Molly and I had fun with her dry erase board...

This month Marshall really got into coloring - unfortunately he had more fun coloring on the tile than on his poster board.

Once it got warm we were happy to spend more time outside.

Since it was warming up, Paul and Molly decided it was time to start working on their garden. They spent several hours one night combining soils and fertilizer to get just the right mix.

While they worked Marshall and I played.I had forgotten how bad the eczema was on his face back in February, poor little dude!

Bookworm

In January, Molly started reading her first chapter book.

The day after she started reading her book she came home from school, got off the school bus and went straight to the couch to read. She's just like her Daddy!Reading the last page... and finishing her 66 page book in just three days!

January 2011

Here it is July and I haven't updated the blog since New Year's Eve... In the next few days I am going to try to get caught up with a post for each month... some will be shorter than others - April will be ridiculous since there are so many cute pictures to share from this year's Bunny Bash!

Since I last posted, Molly "graduated" Kindergarten and I can't believe that First Grade is just around the corner.

100th Day of School

Yeager's Kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day of school by counting out 100 items and making something they could wear to school that day.

Molly and I decided to decorate her viking hat with 100 rhinestones. I think the finished product came out super-cute... and of course no Viking Princess is complete with out her pet dragon, Spikes.

We made an afternoon trip to visit PawPaw and Marshall and I played outside while Molly, Daddy and PawPaw took the new airboat out for a ride.Marshall was delighted to discover the insane amount of noise he could make by banging a rubber ball against PawPaw's boat-stall walls...
The picture below is to serve as a reminder that Marshall was still a drooly mess at 18months.

While MiMi was in town for a visit, she helped Paul and Molly whip up a batch of Quin Applesauce

This month Marshall discovered his love of cars with his orange Unocal truck and yellow school bus as his top two favorites

Molly and Davis had a fun sleepover in our playroom one evening
