First Day of Pre-K 09.09.09

Today was Molly's first day of Pre-K and she had a WONDERFUL day... she told me she can't wait to go back tomorrow morning!

On our way to Molly's first-day-of-school breakfast
Just like last year, she chose IHOP because she wanted smiley-faced pancakes!
Marshall slept the entire time, even when Molly spilled a large glass of orange juice all over the table and Daddy! We met Caden in the parking lot...and the two friends walked into school hand-in-hand
Molly is proud to be in the Eagle class this year!
It's hard to believe that this time next year, we'll be walking her to the bus stop for her first day of Kindergarten!

Marshall's First Visit to Anahuac

Yesterday I drove Molly down to Anahuac to spend a few days with PawPaw. Marshall seemed to enjoy his first visit to the "Gator Capitol of Texas."

Thankfully Marshall survived his first gator attack!Molly swinging with PawPaw (with her eyes closed)

Three of Molly's Favorite Things

Molly had me put them in order of her "most favorite" to "almost most favorite" to "sorta favorite"

Sorry Daddy, I know you are cringing at the Jonas Brothers picture.
Molly told me to go ahead and put it on the blog even though you think they aren't "appropriate for her age."

Let's Talk Kid

Paul was explaining how the current economic climate could affect Halloween sales this year...

Marshall said he's been talking to the e*trade baby and they both agree that retail sales should rebound soon.

Yesterday I stopped in at Molly's school to introduce Marshall to one of Molly's favorite teachers, Ms. Bonnie. While Bonnie and I were talking Molly kept herself busy at the "Welcome Table" by making name tags for everyone. Here is a picture of my favorite one:

Molly said this is a picture of what her brother will look like when he's older:
